Sonsoles Vallés

Sonsoles Vallés (2003) started her violin studies at the age of 7 with professor Fernando Ríus in CIM Padre Antonio Soler. She continued receiving classes with Alexander Detísov, emeritus professor at the Reina Sofía School of  Music. She graduated with Honors, winning the Prize of End of Studies in 2021.

She is currently studying in Codarts University of the Arts, taking lessons with Gordan Nikolic and Goran Grivajcevik.

She has received master classes with renowned musicians like Olga Vilkomirskaya, Polina Kotliarskaya and Ayke Agus among others and with ensembles, with Gregory Chaverdian, Tilman Krämer, Marc Danel and Jonathan Brown.

She is currently having lessons of chamber music with Gijs Kramer and has performed in the Doelen with her string quartet.

She is an active member of Nationaal Jeudorkest (NJO) working with conductor Martin Sieghart and playing in halls like Musikverein Wien.

She feels very grateful for the possibility of playing  a 1912 Giorgio Gatti violin and an Albert Nürnberger bow granted by NMF, and believes that the instruments will inspire her and help her grow along in her professional career.
