I was born in 1998 and started playing violin at the age of 4. I studied in Udine (Italy) and Ljubljana (Slovenia) with Vasilij Meljnikov; now I am continuing my studies at Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Ilya Grubert and at the W. Stauffer Academy in Cremona with Salvatore Accardo.
I have attended numerous masterclasses with distinguished teachers such as Dora Schwarzberg, Stefan Milenković, Roman Simović, Gordan Nikolić, Lukas Hagen, Igor Volochine.
In the past, I have been awarded numerous first prizes at international competitions in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia; in 2016, 2017, and 2018 I was chosen as concertmaster of the National Orchestra of Italian Conservatoires, with which I played in many theatres and at venues such as the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, the Arena in Verona, the Italian Embassy in Wien, the Maggio Fiorentino theatre in Florence and Festival Ravello.
Since I moved to Amsterdam in September 2021, I am happy to say I have been invited to play with Amsterdam Sinfonietta and various other Dutch orchestras. I often have the opportunity to lead the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Orchestra and on such occasions I had the pleasure of playing with Jean Guihen Queyras at Muziekgebouw Amsterdam and with the German conductor Judith Kubitz.
As a soloist, I have performed with the Slovenian Philarmonic Orchestra, the AUDiMuS orchestra, the Udine Conservatoire Orchestra and the Young Musicians European Orchestra. I really enjoy playing with my peers in chamber music groups: examples are the Eris trio, with which I play in Italy, and the Greci-Bruno violin cello duo, active in The Netherlands.
I feel incredibly lucky to be playing on such a high quality instrument as this J.B. Vuillaume and I could not have asked for a better companion in my journey for self-improvement; I will always be thankful to NMF for this opportunity.
