I come from the small city of Singapore and now have the privilege to study in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under David Kuyken. I started playing piano since the age of 7 and since then, I have continued to develop a growing passion for music and the arts.
Previously, I studied with Singaporean pianist Lim Yan. From 2014-2019 I was awarded the Ngee Ann Kongsi Scholarship and in 2019 received the SOTA-Ngee Ann Kongsi Outstanding Young Artist Award.
Apart from performing, I am always curious and full of life. I like to dabble in other things like poetry, writing and photography.
I am honoured to be growing as a musician alongside my Bösendorfer from NMF, which not only gives me a place of respite but also inspiration in my practice.
I am continuously looking for ways to be an ambassador for the Singapore music scene through performances and projects. I look forward to sharing my culture, experience, and the music of my country to more audiences!
