Edgars Karpenskis-Allažs

I'm born on 2000 and come from Riga, Latvia and started to play bassoon at the age of 9 with my first teacher Andris Arnicāns. In 2020 studied with Audun Halvorsen and Sebastian Stevensson in The Royal Danish Academy of Music and in 2021 I enrolled in the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag with Bram van Sambeek.

Musically I've always been interested in lesser-known composers and more uncommon musical formations. I believe there is a lot of great, undiscovered music out there in the world and I've put in on myself to discover and present it to others, one musical piece at a time.
