Hi to all! I am 22 years old Latvian born violinist, who started my music life in Riga, in Emīla Dārziņa school of music. At age of 6 I’ve started to play at various concert in the biggest halls in Latvia such as Big Guild and Small Guild halls, Dzintari big hall in Jūrmala and Winter Dzintari halls . Then I have got an opportunity to continue my studies in Russia, in Gnessin School of Music. Of course in those times (2015) it was a dream to study in the same place where were such a great were Bors as Evgeny Kissin, Daniil Trifonov, Natalia Shakhovskaya and others.
After graduating, I’ve studied in Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory until the war in Ukraine started. It was horrible to understand what is happening and not to support the agressor, so I decided to left Russia and started to search for a new a new study place.
And I was lucky to have an opportunity to continue my education in Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Ilya Grubert as the main teacher. Now I am 2nd Bachelor Student at CvA.
In my whole life I’ve got huge amount of concerts in Russia, Latvia, France, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Estonia and Germany. Had and opportunity to work with violinist as Boris Garlitsky, Roman Nodel, Lev Gerbald, Julian Rachlin, Daniel Rowland. Performed with LNSO and Virtuosi of Moscow orchestras. Had an amazing opportunities to work with Pēteris Vasks and perform his music.
In 2023 I’ve got invited as a “Young Talent” to perform at Stift International Music Festival.
Had a chance to join International Violin Competitions:
- Stīgu instrumentu spēle/Valsts konkurss (National Violin Competition): 1 prize (Latvia, Riga), 2014
- 54 Kocian International Violin competition 1st category: 3rd prize (Usti nad Orlici, Czech Republic), 2012
- 4th International Saulius Sondeckis Competition: 1st prize (Siauliai, Lithuania), 2013
- Young Musician: 2st prize (Tallin, Estonia), 2011
With the great honor and great gratitude I have an opportunity to perform with the bow from NMF collection. It is a bow that feels as a magic wand in my hands with which I can do whatever sound, tembre and colour I want. Perform and to give an opportunity to the listeners to hear the all spectre of violin colours and to tell a story that composer wanted to deliver through his composition.
